As part of my own identity, I know how important LGBTQ+ identity and cultural diversity can be in therapy. Gender identity, sexual orientation and cultural background can shape our experiences and sometimes need space to be explored. At other times, they can be sources of strength, grounding and connection, or simply be parts of who we are without needing particular attention.
No two people are the same, and no two sessions are the same. As an LGBTQ+ affirming and culturally sensitive therapist, my aim is to keep you as a whole person at the centre of our work, exploring your experience with curiosity, awareness and without assumptions.
My interest in LGBTQ+ mental health also has an academic foundation. As part of my Master's in Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy, I researched the impact of media representation on the mental and emotional wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people in Romania.
I offer an LGBTQ+ affirming space where you don't need to educate your therapist about your identity or worry about being judged, stereotyped or reduced to it.
